Eric Johnson Queen's Hall Edinburgh 1st  August 2026 Review
Eric Johnson is one of the leading guitarists of his generation, and his ability, as so effortlessly displayed tonight, to move between musical styles was exactly what this audience came out to hear tonight.

Whatever the song, whatever the style of music, one thing that never changes is Jerron Paxton's ability to share his love of the music and its history with his audience.

This is Rambert Festival Theatre Edinburgh  2nd July
Over the years that I have been reviewing Rambert, there have been so many different works on stage and, like anything else in life, personal taste plays a big part in how you respond to them as an individual. Whatever response their work evokes, that creative journey with Rambert is always one worth taking

Karate Kid The Musical Festival Theatre 23rd June 2026 Review
Karate Kid The Musical Festival Theatre 23rd June
On paper, this show has everything that you could ask for in a musical adaptation of a popular film. Having the show book written by Robert Mark Kamen, the original writer of the Karate Kid Film (plus Karate Kid films 2, 3, and 5), the very experienced Drew Gasparini as composer/lyricist, and Amon Miyamato directing, should have been the raw ingredients for something very special on stage.
